NBC DEPORTES presents "Boxeo Telemundo Ford" summer season's second fight on TELEMUNDO, this Friday, July 24 at 11:35PM/10:35C from Mexico City's Auditorio Blackberry with a 10-round prizefight between Mexican boxers Rómulo Koasicha and Guillermo "El Borrego" Ávila for Mexico's National Featherweight title. The fight will be narrated by renowned sportscaster René Giraldo and Édgar López, and can also be viewed on NBCDeportes.com digital platforms and the NBC Deportes EN VIVO EXTRA app.

Rómulo Koasicha (24-4, 14KO), a native of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, will defend his title for the third time following two victories in 2015 over Edgar Monárrez and Jesús Santillán, whom he beat in a fourth-round KO. He faced off against three rivals in 2014, twice successfully defending his World Boxing Council (WBC) North American Featherweight title, first against Marcos Cárdenas and later knocking out Genaro Camargo in the fifth round.

Guillermo Ávila (15-3, 12KO), from Jamay, Jalisco, Mexico, is on an impressive roll as he comes into this fight with three straight KO victories in 2015, two of them against Francisco Márquez. He held three fights in 2014 which were carried on "Boxeo Telemundo Ford", losing two of them and winning one by KO against Claudio Villegas.

"Boxeo Telemundo Ford" still has two exciting prizefights coming up in its Summer Season schedule:

Friday, July 31, at 11:35PM/10:35C, at the A la Carte Event Pavillion in Tampa, Florida, Mexican-American Ricardo "Meserito" Rodriguez will face American Daniel "Scorpion" Lozano for the WBC Super Flyweight title in a match set for 10 rounds.

On August 7, in the last fight of the season, Mexican Alejandro "Payasito" Hernández will take on his fellow Mexico City native, Isao Carranza, in a 10-round prizefight for the WBC's Latin Bantamweight crown, at 11:35PM/10:35C from the Auditorio Blackberry in Mexico City.
