"Boxeo Telemundo Ford" begins its summer season on Telemundo today, July 17 at 11:35PM/10:35C at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, Florida, with a 10-round bout between Mexico's Aarón "Timmy" García and Puerto Rico's Daniel Rosario Cruz for the WBO Latin Super Welterweight title. The match will be narrated by veteran sportscasters René Giraldo and Édgar López and, like other important NBC Deportes sporting events, can also be viewed on NBCDeportes.com digital platforms and the NBC Deportes EN VIVO EXTRA app.

Aarón "Timmy" García (14-3-1, 10KO) is out to improve on an already excellent record last year, which included three KOs against Marcos "Bony" Hernández, Rafael "Pitbull" Rocha and Carlos Ramírez. In his fourth fight, he won a 12th-round decision over Edgar "El Monasterio" Guzmán in a rematch for the Fecombox Mexico National Super Welterweight title. "Timmy" debuted on "Boxeo Telemundo Ford" on November 18, 2011 with a KO victory over Geovany "El Chino" Escutia.

Daniel Rosario Cruz (10-1, 9KO) has taken the ring only once so far in 2015, beating Alphonso Black in a three-round knockout, a memorable demonstration of strength by the Puerto Rican. After falling in the first round, Cruz came back strong and sent Black to the canvas after a spectacular exchange of blows. In 2014 he fought three times against Mexicans, managing two wins and suffering only one defeat.

"Boxeo Telemundo Ford" has three more fights coming up this summer, with three world titles in dispute:

Friday, July 24, at 11:35PM/10:35C, at the Blackberry Auditorium in Mexico City, Mexicans Rómulo Koasicha and Guillermo "El Borrego" Ávila will meet in a 10-round prizefight for Mexico's National Featherweight crown.

Friday, July 31, at 11:35PM/10:35C, at the A la Carte Event Pavillion in Tampa, Florida, Mexican-AmericanRicardo "Meserito" Rodriguez will face American Daniel "Scorpion" Lozano for the WBC Super Flyweight title in a match set for 10 rounds.

Alejandro "Payasito" Hernández returns to "Boxeo Telemundo Ford", August 7, at Auditorio Blackberry, Mexico City, with an opponent yet to be confirmed.
