THE GOOD WIFE is set to see a familiar face and gain another Broadway vet for its seventh season.

According to EW, Amy Irving will portray "a striking, bohemian-looking woman who is a celebrated photographer. She goes in front of a judge to argue on behalf of her work, while clearly placing more importance on her pending retrospective than on what it means to her family." Her episode will air October 11.

Irving joins GOOD WIFE newcomers Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Broadway's Cush Jumbo and Margo Martindale.

In other great news, Michael J. Fox will also officially be returning as 'Louis Canning' for season 7. Fox's recent TV credits include THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW, RESCUE ME and BOSTON LEGAL.

An Oscar nominee, Irving has starred in the TV series ZERO HOUR and ALIAS. Among her best known film credits are CROSSING DELANCEY, THE FURY, CARRIE and YENTL. The actress last appeared on Broadway in THE COAST OF UTOPIA.

THE GOOD WIFE is a drama starring Emmy Award winner Julianna Margulies as a wife and mother who boldly assumes full responsibility for her family and re-enters the workforce after her husband's very public sex and political corruption scandal lands him in jail. Also starring are Matthew Goode, Christine Baranski, Archie Panjabi, Matt Czuchry, Alan Cumming, Zach Grenier, Makenzie Vega and Graham Phillips.

THE GOOD WIFE starts up again on October 4 on CBS.
