Amber Tamblyn Joins TWO AND A HALF MEN Season 11 as Charlie's Lesbian Daughter

Charlie Harper's long-lost lesbian daughter will be played by Amber Tamblyn in TWO AND A HALF MEN's upcoming eleventh season on CBS, The Hollywood Reporter writes. She will join the comedy as a recurring guest star in at least five episodes.

"I think it would be great to have that voice on the show from a different perspective," Lorre said during the TCA's summer press tour, talking about the addition of a lesbian character. "The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime."

Tamblyn (House, Joan of Arcadia) will play Jenny, illegitimate daughter to Charlie (Charlie Sheen) who appears in LA to reconnect with her family and try her hand at an acting career.

The actress recently appeared in CBS' Anatomy of Violence pilot, and has also appeared on TV in Portlandia and Inside Amy Schumer. Her film credits include 127 Hours, Django Unchained and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants franchise. Her upcoming film projects include 3 Nights in the Desert, Growing Up and Other Lies and X/Y. Tamblyn is slated to appear on Broadway in The Miss Firecracker Contest in 2014.
