Adam Frary has been named Director of Creative Services and Local Programming for WTVD-TV in Raleigh-Durham, N.C. The announcement was made today by Caroline Welch, President and General Manager of the station, to whom he will report.
ABC11/WTVD serves the Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville region of North Carolina, and is part of the ABC Owned Television Stations Group. The station is home to ABC11 Eyewitness News, providing 43 hours of local news every week, as well as ABC11.com. Mr. Frary will be responsible for all station branding, promotion, graphics and local production in this growing and competitive 24th market. "Adam's expertise in promoting local stations and proven track record in connecting with viewers will serve us well," said Ms. Welch. "We're delighted that he is joining WTVD." Over the years, Mr. Frary has held various marketing and production positions for a number of Raycom's local television stations. For the last three years, he served as marketing director for WAVE-TV in Louisville Kentucky, shepherding all station creative for marketing, news, digital commercial production and design.
