A&E Networks Announces Launch of New Premium Video Service VESSEL

A+E Networks® today joined the launch of Vessel - a new, premium video service that gives passionate fans early access to short-form videos from their favorite networks and video creators - with A&E®, FYI™, HISTORY® and Lifetime® content. Videos are available exclusively to Vessel members for 72 hours and then available and shareable for free on Vessel and creators can publish them anywhere else they have a presence on the web. Exclusive clips of favorite A+E Networks programming includes "Intervention", "Shipping Wars" and "Bates Motel" (from A&E); "Married At First Sight: The First Year," and "My City's Just Not That Into Me" (from FYI); "Pawn Stars", "Ax Men", and "Vikings" (from HISTORY); and "Little Women: NY" and "Dance Moms" (from Lifetime).

Founded by Hulu executives Jason Kilar and Richard Tom, Vessel offers these exclusive videos for $2.99 a month via iOS mobile apps and Vessel.com. The "early access" clips enable networks and creators to debut their new videos on Vessel to enthusiastic fans who want to see their favorite programming content first.
