ABC's Chris Cuomo to Interview Victim of Penn State Sex Abuse Scandal

The young man known as Victim #1, whose sexual abuse allegations led to the criminal conviction of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, will break his silence in an exclusive television interview with ABC News' chief law and justice correspondent and "20/20" co-anchor, Chris Cuomo. An ABC News investigation will reveal new details about how Jerry Sandusky got away with the abuse for so many years. Who knew what, when, and why did it take so long for action to be taken? For the first time hear how the scandal unfolded from the perspective of Victim #1 and hear how he feels about Penn State.

The exclusive interview will be featured across ABC News broadcasts and platforms beginning Tuesday, October 23, including Tuesday evening on "ABC World News" (6:30 p.m., ET) and "Nightline" (11:35 p.m., ET), as well as Wednesday, October 24 on "Good Morning America" (7:00-9:00 a.m., ET). Cuomo will appear on "Katie," Katie Couric's new syndicated daytime talk show, Tuesday, October 23 with a special first look at the interview (http://www.katiecouric.com/station-finder" check local listings).

This the latest in a series of Chris Cuomo exclusives that have aired recently, including Rielle Hunter, John Edwards' former mistress and the mother of his four-year-old child, and former Rutgers University student Dharun Ravi, who spoke to Cuomo in his first television interview after being found guilty of spying on his college roommate, Tyler Clementi.

Silent No More: Victim #1's Fight for Justice Against Jerry Sandusky will be published as a Ballantine Books Hardcover on October 23, 2012.
