ABC News has been nominated for 14 News and Documentary Emmy Awards in 9 categories. ABC News was recognized with nominations for reporting on "World News with Diane Sawyer," "Good Morning America," "Nightline" and "This Week with George Stephanopoulos." In addition ABC News was recognized in several categories for its exceptional breaking news coverage of the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut. Diane Sawyer, Alex Perez and the "Hidden America" producing team were also recognized with a nomination for their report, "Don't Shoot I Want to Grow Up," on gang violence in Chicago.

Nominees for the 34th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards were announced today by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). Below is a full list of ABC News' Emmy Nominations:
