Multi-platinum Contemporary and Classical musician David Phelps, known for his signature, three-octave tenor voice, recently performed on CBS's morning show "The Couch," where he wowed audiences and studio members alike with his renditions of "Joy to the World" and "O Holy Night." Phelps recently performed at Jim Caruso's "Cast Party". The GRAMMY and Dove award winning performer, also a longtime member of the acclaimed Gaither Vocal Band, has just released a new solo recording, Classic, that finds him embracing a variety of classical/theatrical works he has loved since childhood.

Classic, which includes 13 arias, timeless anthems and newly arranged pop songs, was recently featured on BroadwayWorld, described by Pat Cerasaro as a release that "showcases his [David's] overall wide embrace of titanic vocals and big emotion while covering the genres of pop, opera, gospel, classical, religious themes, theatre music and even more...."

The multi-platinum artist first entered the national spotlight when he joined the Gaither Vocal Band and has since performed at Carnegie Hall, the White House and many other halls and churches around the world. Phelps has won two GRAMMY Awards and four GMA DOVE Awards. His latest work, Classic, showcases his talents as a singer, songwriter, arranger and producer.
