STAGE TUBE: First Trailer Released for The Met's WAGNER'S DREAM Documentary

From renowned director Susan Froemke and award-winning editor Bob Eisenhardt comes the new documentary, WAGNER'S DREAM.

WAGNER'S DREAM will have its world premiere at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival on Wednesday, April 25, followed by its worldwide theatrical release on May 7 - a one-day ticketed event as part of The Met: Live in HD series.

In WAGNER'S DREAM, the stakes could not be higher as visionary director Robert Lepage, the world's greatest singers, and the Metropolitan Opera tackle Wagner's Ring cycle. An intimate look at the enormous theatrical and musical challenges of staging opera's most monumental work, the film chronicles the quest to fulfill Wagner's dream of a perfect Ring.
