Well, where to begin for this week's COMMUNITY episode. The basic plot is that Abed is filming a wedding video/documentary about Garrett's wedding to Stacy. Of course, the film centers around the study group and their experiences at the wedding and reception. When the group arrives late to the wedding and acts obnoxiously at the reception, they are put in check by Garrett's mom, who doesn't want them ruining this night for Garrett. The group realizes how they've acted and split up so that they can be the "best wedding guests ever."

It is in this separation that the episode really starts to take a turn. Beforehand, we saw the group in really over exaggerated settings: chanting "drink" in Annie and Abed's apartment, laughing too hard at Chang falling out of his chair at the wedding, and being very over-confident that they were "killing" it as guests. After they split up, however, they all start to realize things. Britta sees that when she is with the group, she doesn't feel whole, and when she's alone she isn't "the worst" and she can feel complete. Also, both Annie and Frankie realize they have an intense need to help others, and that it is affecting them in a not so good way. Frankie also spoke to Abed in an aside and she mentions how she wants to get Annie away from Jeff, which is an interesting moment, becuase the Annie/Jeff dynamic hasn't really been brought up much this season, and it was surprising to see it brought up in such a way out of the blue. I mean Frankie does mention how self-centered Jeff is when she is talking to Annie, but she never seemed to notice or care about the Annie/Jeff relationship, since it has been very non-existent this season.

After Jeff accidentally and unknowingly makes it known that Garrett and Stacy are cousins, the group sits and reflects on their situation. They start to wonder whether or not they are better or worse when together, and are about to leave separately until Chang gets up and makes an impassioned speech about how Garrett and Stacy only have each other in this world and if they love each other, it shouldn't matter that they are related--so essentially condoning incest.

This episode truly served to show us how self-centered the study group is, and how they can turn Garrett's wedding into it being all about them. It also addresses how co-dependent the study group is even though they fail to realize it most of the time. However, the way the episode ended leads me to think that the final episode of Season 6 will contain a lot of drama and possibly an un-happy ending, since the group begins to see all of the issues that plagues them when they are together.

"Wedding Videography" also had a lot of strange moments that I hope are revisited at some point. For me, the one I hope to get more information on, but am doubtful I will, is Frankie's story. She is just about to delve into her family life and her past before she is cut off by Jeff and the guys bursting into the apartment chanting "Drink!" It is a very shallow moment that cuts off what was set to be a very deep, emotional moment--and though I know that was the point, I would like to hear more about Frankie's past. Also, Annie's description of the group as being "an intensely, intimately bonded crew," stood out to me and made me wonder what exactly she meant by that, because, though the group spends a lot of time together, they don't seem to really know each other that well. So much of this show sparks the need to delve deeper, and I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface of what is going on. That is what I love about COMMUNITY, though, because although it is a comedy show, it has so many more layers to it, and it keeps you thinking long after the episode airs.

So many other moments were hilarious, like when Jeff opened up a drawer at his desk and it was full of ice for his drinks, or the Dean's Jack Nicholson impression. I also laughed at Annie and Abed's making

Finally, I loved the tag where we meet Briggs Hatton, the writer of the Community Season 6 incest episode. I also enjoyed all the actors who they get to play the writers, mainly the actor they chose for Dan Harmon.
