BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theater site on the net, is seeking the newest member of our editorial team. Are you based in New York City, and obsessed with all things theatrical online and off? Has writing about and talking to those in the Broadway world (pun intended) been a dream of yours? This full time position could be just what you, and we are looking for.

Applicants should have strong writing skills, an eye for what works in the online media world of 2015 and experience with all forms of social media. The ability to work independently and to demonstrate good editorial judgment in a fast-paced environment is essential. A successful candidate will be fast, flexible and deadline-driven and excited by the prospect of working on multiple stories a day. It's expected that you will learn our content management systems and processes quickly and have top notch editing skills along with the ability to thrive in an online, team based environment.

Along with these primary online writing and social media duties, this new position will be encouraged to pitch and will be assigned semi-regular feature stories to report and write for the web site and will have continuous interaction with the theatre community at large.

All qualified applicants must:

- Be obsessed with all things theatrical, both online and off.

- Have at minimum a bachelors degree in theatre, journalism, communication, marketing or a related field.

- Experience writing about theatre and/or entertainment

- Hands-on experience with all of the latest social media platforms

- The ability to write clearly, creatively, with humor and to think outside the box

- Eagerness to come up with interesting topics to write about

- Previous experience with online content management systems

- A familiarity with the basics of image editing (resizing, cropping, combining images)
