London-via-Kendal four piece Woman's Hour have joined the Secretly Canadian family and will release a brand new single, "Her Ghost", through their new label in March. "Her Ghost" is available digitally now with the full digital single including b-side out February 17th and a limited edition 7" vinyl released on March 24th.

The band will be supporting the single's release with a string of UK live dates including a special headline date at London's Purcell Room. The dates also see Woman's Hour visit the US for the first time, including performances at this year's South By South West Festival in Austin, Texas and headlining shows in New York and Los Angeles.

"Her Ghost' is Woman's Hour's first release with their new label following a year which saw them become the 6th most blogged band of the year (Hype Machine), receive praise from the likes of Pitchfork, The Fader and The Line of Best Fit.

Placing the heart-wrenching vocals of Fiona Burgess against an intricate backdrop of expertly-crafted electronic textures, the new song finds its power through restraint with the band's attention to the smallest of details reflected in the richness of the end result. At once achingly subtle and breathtakingly powerful in its melodic display, "Her Ghost" is testament to a band fully in command of their unique identity and sound.

Woman's Hour are Fiona Burgess, William Burgess, Josh Hunnisett and Nicolas Graves.
