Wig Party's collective love of hair pieces and social gatherings brings them together as a band. The New Jersey based group thrives on stage, never playing the same show twice. Their energetic performances keep audiences on their feet and moving. The sounds of Wig Party are characterized by bursting hooks, humble harmonies and driving rhythms. They take an approach to songwriting that emphasizes bold innovation with vintage simplicity. From high-paced celebration anthems to murky earthly haunts, the band pours it all into their live performances.

The Clox formed in Brooklyn, NY in 2007. The group was developed by Denis Orynbekov (vocals and lead guitar), Russell Bay(drums), Igor Reznik (Rhythm Guitar) and Alex Prokofyev (Bass). In Fall of 2009 quartet became a trio when Alex left the group, and Igor Reznik switched roles from playing rhythm guitar to playing the bass.

The Senate + Stone Cold Fox + Ula Ruth

Fri, June 1, 2012
Doors 7:00 pm / Show 7:30 pm
$8.00 – $12.00

With a sound that sets itself apart from any other, The Senate is taking it upon themselves to correct what it is that has been wrong with the music industry for years... Musicianship, or lack thereof.

Picture this: dreamy, folk-inspired tunes ignited by an aspiring musician's simple stroll in the city or while immersed in his own thoughts on a meaningless train ride. The concept seems almost too organic of an approach to songwriting to exist in the modern rock scene. Enter NYC's Stone Cold Fox - a group that echoes that exact raw musicianship and towers above anything you've ever heard because of it.

For brothers Nicholas and Lucas James, taking the easy road was never an option. From home schooling to Quaker schools and the certainty of a move almost every five years, the brother's childhood was anything but normal. Growing up in the suburbs of Connecticut was an obstacle from day one for the brothers. These two hot-sauce-loving, god-fearing, skinny-jean-wearing, rock'n rollers could not have been raised in a more contradictory place. Luc and Nick decided early on not to conform to their bland surroundings, but rather to turn it on it's head. Nick began to teach himself guitar, and Luc the drums, and the brothers' early music began to take the form of a blues-rock duo inspired by The Black Keys and The White Stripes.
