Jennifer Hudson will make her Broadway debut in the highly-anticipated Broadway revival of The Color Purple, beginning previews on November 10th at theBernard B. Jacobs Theatre and officially opening on December 10th. The actress won an Academy Award for her starring role in the film adaptation of DREAMGIRLS.

THE COLOR PURPLE has scenic design by John Doyle, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward, lighting design by Jane Cox, sound design by Gregory Clarke, and hair and wig design by Charles G. LaPointe. The Color Purple will feature music supervision byCatherine Jayes and Music Direction byJason Michael Webb. Casting byTelsey + Company/Justin Huff, CSA.
