Academy Award-winning actress Tilda Swinton lends her effotlessly erudite and ethereal Style to a major role in the new music video for a single from David Bowie's first album in a decade, "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)".

In the clip, Swinton and Bowie play an uptight married couple who are plagued by the sudden appearance of an outrageous celebrity couple next door (played by Saskia de Brauw and Andrej Pejic). The ensuing gender-bending and all-out weirdness - basically a Bowie look at domestic life - is as bizarre and entrancing as one would expect from Ziggy Stardust himself.

The last shot says it all. Fin.

The video was directed by Floria Sigismondi, cinematography by Jeff Cronenweth.

"The Stars (Are Out Tonight)" hits iTunes at midnight tonight.

The song is a single from the highly-anticipated new David Bowie album set to be released on April 20, THE NEXT DAY.
