The Youngest Premiere 'Built To Last' with Impose

Chicago's The Youngest had a busy year in 2016, from releasing their Brian Deck (Iron & Wine, Modest Mouse) produced sophomore album which featured Wilco's Pat Sansone, See It Through, to immediately kicking off the first leg of its nationwide tour. The video follows a couple running through their town, zig-zagging through a high school and sprinting right out of the city to get away from their anxieties, all the while searching for... something... See It Through's inspiration is "half relationships and half society," according to Andrew Taetz (vocals, rhythm guitar, keys), and offers up frenetic lyricism with a reflection on both the current civil zeitgeist and modern youth's reaction to it. This idea is perpetuated with the "Built To Last" video, offering not only a voice but also imagery to a generation hesitant about their country's future, but prepared to accept the mantle soon to be thrust upon them.

After launching the first leg of their American tour this past fall with a slew of Midwestern tour dates, Frontman Andrew Taetz and keyboardist Jackie Myers will be heading out West for a string of acoustic tour dates up and down the California coast. More tour dates to be announced later this year.
