The Toxic Avenger Releases New LP Today via Ultra Records

Following the release of the Speed remix EP, French DJ/songwriter/producer Simon Delacroix aka The Toxic Avenger has announced the release of his highly anticipated Romance & Cigarettes LP, out today, June 10 via Ultra Records. Seamlessly blending heavy synth-pop influences and disco-inspired syncopation, the album packed with beats that are just as melodic as they are percussive.

Romance & Cigarettes balances classic rhythms and futurism in a way that few others are able to capture. LP cut "Speed" is a tempo-shifting track accented by unexpected bass drops and the ethereal voice of Ylva Falk. Shimmering keyboards and inventive beats on "Say My Name" set the stage for the smooth pop-vocals by Jose Fontao, commanding listeners to move.
