SiriusXM to Broadcast Phish's Magnaball Festival

SiriusXM announced today thatit will broadcast Phish's Magnaball Festivalin Watkins Glen, NY, August 20 through August 23, on SiriusXM's Jam On channel.

The live broadcast of the festival will include seven live Phish sets throughout the weekend. The broadcast will also include exclusive material from the band's archives presented by Phish's official archivist Kevin Shapiro.

The broadcast will air on Bunny Radio, a live, freeform radio station Phish creates on-site at their festivals. Bunny Radio will take over SiriusXM's Jam On channel for the weekend-long festival.

Phish's Magnaball Festival broadcast will air beginning Thursday, August 20 at 9:00 pm ET and will air through Sunday, August 23 via satellite on Jam On, channel 29, and through the SiriusXM App on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.

Subscribers will also be able to listen to the broadcast via SiriusXM On Demand through the SiriusXM App for smartphones and other mobile devices and online atsiriusxm.com.

SiriusXM's Jam On has also broadcasted from previous Phish festivals, including Festival 8 and Super Ball.

SiriusXM's broadcast of Phish's Magnaball Festival is one of the many festivals that SiriusXM broadcasts for its listeners. Previous SiriusXM festival broadcasts have featured CoachellaValley Music and Arts Festival, Lollapalooza Music Festival, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Hangout Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Firefly Music Festival, Governors Ball Music Festival, Rock on the Range, and Ultra Music Festival.

Jam On listeners will hear live improvisational, eclectic rock music from artists including Phish, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, Moe., Gov't Mule, Allman Brothers Band, Disco Biscuits, Umphrey's McGee, The String Cheese Incident, Black Crowes and My Morning Jacket.
