Shawn Mendes Announces Re-Release of 'Handwritten', Ft New Songs & Live Recordings

Billboard reports that pop-singer Shawn Mendes is reissuing his debut album 'Handwritten' with new songs and live recordings.

The new album, 'Handwritten Revisited' will include four new songs, "Act Like You Love Me," "Running Low," "Memories" and a secret track. It will also include five live recordings from Mendes' August 16 show at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. The live songs being "Kid in Love," "I Don't Even Know Your Name," "Strings," "Aftertaste" and "A Little Too Much."

Anyone who purchases the CD will gain access to a fan-only pre-sale to Mendes' show at Radio City Music Hall in New York next March. The album is also being packaged with a LIVE FROM THE GREEK THEATER DVD and a commemorative Greek Theater poster print.

Shawn Mendes is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He attracted a following in 2013, when he began posting song covers on the popular video sharing application, Vine. The following year, he caught the attention of artist manager Andrew Gertler and Island Records A&R Ziggy Chareton which led to him signing a deal with the record label.

Mendes went on to release his debut single "Life of the Party", which become successful in Canada. Following the release of his first single, he has released both an EP and a studio album, and has headlined a solo tour.
