Us Weekly writes that Skylight Tony nominee Carey Mulligan is expecting her first child with her husband Marcus Mumford, lead singer of the band Mumford & Sons.

Mulligan attended the Tony Awards last night, where Skylight took home the award for Best Revival of a Play.

Mulligan and Bill Nighy are currently reprising their critically acclaimed West End performances in the hit London production of David Hare's Skylight at the John Golden Theatre, directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Stephen Daldry.

The actress made her Broadway debut in THE SEAGULL in 2008 and later appeared off-Broadway in THROUGH A GLASS DARKLY.

Mulligan is well known for her roles in the films AN EDUCATION, NEVER LET ME GO, DRIVE, SHAME, THE GREAT GATSBY, INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS and FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD. She will soon appear on the big screen opposite Meryl Streep in SUFFRAGETTE.

Mulligan and Mumford -- who were childhood pen pals before reconnecting as adults -- married in April 2012. They will return to London after Skylight ends its run on Broadway on June 21 at the John Golden Theatre.
