Romance, Soul & Rock N' Roll is happy to be back at The Colonial Theatre performing in their 13th annual show. This year's show, Stage & Screen is full of familiar songs that audience members will want to sing along with, as well an exciting surprise or two. Director Ted Concepcion, Assistant Director Donna Vidoli and Musical Director David Pickard, along with an amazing cast promise to thoroughly entertain the audience.

This is the fifth year that the group is performing to benefit the Colonial, which, according to director Ted Concepcion "is a gem of a theater and an extremely important part of the success of Pittsfield and Berkshire County as a place for people to visit as well as a destination for the local population to enjoy quality live local and visiting entertainers."

According to Berkshire Theatre Group Artistic Director Kate Maguire, "We are so grateful to Donna Vidoli and Ted Concepcion for donating the proceeds of their show to Berkshire Theatre Group for the fifth year in a row. This is a major contribution for us. Donna and Ted certainly understand the spirit of giving, and everyone who is involved with one of their productions, whether on the stage or in the crowd, can attest to that. Everyone has a wonderful time!"

"Our experience with The Colonial Theatre and now Berkshire Theatre Group has been wonderful," said Donna Vidoli, one of the producers for Romance, Soul, Rock 'N Roll. "From the first tour that Simon Shaw (BTG's Programmer) gave us of The Colonial, we have felt a connection with the theatre. To perform on The Colonial stage, where legends many, many years ago also performed, is truly magical!"

About Berkshire Theatre Group - The Colonial Theatre, founded in 1903, and Berkshire Theatre Festival, founded in 1928, are two of the oldest cultural organizations in the Berkshires. Having united in November of 2010 under the leadership of Artistic Director and CEO Kate Maguire, these two institutions are providing the Berkshires and beyond with the finest in live theatre, music, dance and the visual arts on five stages in Stockbridge, MA and Pittsfield, MA. The Fitzpatrick Main Stage (400 seats), cataloged by the National Register of Historic Places, was originally designed and built by Stanford White as the Stockbridge Casino in 1888. The intimate Unicorn Theatre (122 seats) is a home for emerging artists and new theatrical ideas. The Colonial in Pittsfield (780 seats) re-opened in August of 2006, following a $21 million restoration, and boasts pristine acoustics, classic gilded age architecture and state-of-the-art technical systems. BTG also performs at the outdoor Neil Ellenoff stage, located on the grounds of BTF in Stockbridge, and at The Garage, a music venue located in the lobby of The Colonial. BTG serves over 100,000 patrons per year and reaches over 17,000 students through its educational and outreach programs. For more information on BTG call (413) 448-8084.
