Holy Guacamole! The award-winning kindie music titans of Brooklyn, Rolie Polie Guacamole, are ready to raise the roof and dish out plenty of tasty ear spice for families this month, with two free shows in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

At 10:30 a.m. today, October 24, Rolie Polie Guacamole will celebrate fall with a rousing performance at the fifth annual Brooklyn Bridge Park Harvest Festival in Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 6, 334 Furman St., Brooklyn, NY.

Then at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow, October 25, Rolie Polie Guacamole will perform a rocking Halloween Show in Central Park at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center, 110th Street between Fifth and Lenox Avenues, NYC, as part of Central Park Conservancy's annual Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Flotilla. Kids and adults alike are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween finery. At 6:00 p.m. Rolie Polie Guacamole will lead the Halloween Parade around the block!

Rolie Polie Guacamole has been entertaining families for almost a decade. They'll bring their irresistible energy, impeccable musicianship, and wacky humor to their October NYC shows, playing tunes like "Bird Bellyful," "Wake Up Shake Up," "Apples," "Always Brush Your Teeth," and, of course, "Rolie Polie Guacamole."

Says Rolie Polie Guacamole's Frank Gallo, "Our shows are highly interactive, upbeat, and funny. Parents and kids alike will find themselves dancing, hopping, and turning upside down ... until the show ends, and they are ready to take a nap."

Winner of the prestigious Parents' Choice® and NAPPA Awards, Rolie Polie Guacamole has developed a smart, parent-friendly musical style that dresses up original tunes and classic covers with vibrant harmonies and deft instrumental layers, plugging in a sizzling electric current of rhythm that lights up lyrics humming with relevance and humor. The band is known for bouncy, fun, high-energy songs all done up in folk, funk, rock, Latin and country styles, about eating healthy, staying active, and places the band loves to go.

Rolie Polie Guacamole lays claim to being one of the hardest working bands in kids' music, and that just might be true. They've released five albums and played well over 1,500 shows nationwide since hitting the boards with their first performance in 2007, receiving top picks from Boston.com, Time Out NY Kids, and Time Out Chicago. (It must be in the genes, for founding band member Frank Gallo's dad is none other than veteran kids' musician Lou Gallo.)

Rolie Polie Guacamole albums include Chips and Salsa (2015), Triathlon(2014, Parents' Choice Fun Stuff Award®), Houses Of The Moly (2012, Parents' Choice Silver Honor Award®, NAPPA Honors Award), Time For Hummus (2010), and Rolie Polie Guacamole (2008).
