Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of RetroFret Vintage Guitars in the Gowanus Section of Brooklyn, NY and the 180th Anniversary of C. F. Martin setting up his guitar shop in New York City, will be the book release party and book signing of "Inventing the American Guitar". The founder of RetroFret, Steve Uhrik, and Peter Szego, the book's co-author, will both be present at this double event.

"This month is a personally significant time in guitar history for me - the 6th of November marks exactly 180 years since Christian FredeRick Martin moved to NYC and set up shop. The 18th marks 30 years since I established the RetroFret guitar shop here on Butler Street in Brooklyn. I could not think of a better way to celebrate than by hosting the book signing for this incredible project by Mr. Shaw and Mr. Szego." -Steve Uhrik, RetroFret Vintage Guitars
