L.A. indie dream pop duo Magic Wands have cast quite the spell on listeners with their magnificent new album JUPITER, a modern rock epic that hits the sweet spot between '80s shoegaze and '90s neo-psych.

The album was recently selected by tastemaker Post-Punk.com as Album Of The Month, who note the immense creative leap forward that JUPITER represents from the group's 2012 album Aloha Moon.

Dexy Valentine, one half of the MW duo, spoke to Post-Punk about the release, catching fans up on the recent line-up changes within the group as well as the sci-fi influences that shaped the album's first single "Lazer Bitch."
