New BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN Album 'High Hopes' Leaked Prematurely on Amazon

Billboard.com reports that Bruce Springsteen's highly anticipated new album, "High Hopes," was leaked prematurely in the music download section of Amazon.Com on Saturday, December 28th, two weeks before its scheduled January 14th release date.

Although the album was not able to be purchased nor downloaded, all 12 of its songs could be purchased individually. The album's title track has been available for purchase since November 25th. According to the report, the leak was quickly sealed however the album appeared on several file-sharing sites within hours.

The album marks Springsteen's 18th studio release and features the members of the E Street Band as well as guitarist Tom Morello. The project was recorded in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Australia and New York City.

What also makes the album special is several songs featuring Springsteen sax player Clarence Clemons, who died in 2011, and Danny Federici, who died in 2008. Springsteen calls the work, "some of our best unreleased material from the past decade."
