Molly Tuttle's New Album Available via NPR's First Listen Now

Award-winning songwriter-guitarist Molly Tuttle's debut album, WHEN YOU'RE READY, can now be heard in its entirety via NPR's First Listen. Already crowned 'Instrumentalist of the Year' at the 2018 Americana Music Awards on the strength of her debut EP, Tuttle has broken boundaries and garnered the respect of her peers, winning fans for her incredible flatpicking guitar technique and confessional songwriting. Graced with a clear, true voice and a keen melodic sense, the native Californian seems poised for a long and exciting career. WHEN YOU'RE READY was recorded in Nashville with producer Ryan Hewitt (The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers) and showcases her astonishing range and versatility and shows that she is more than simply an Americana artist.

"I love so many types of music," Tuttle says, "and it's exciting to be a part of and embraced by different musical worlds, but when I'm creating I don't think about genres or how it will fit into any particular format - it's just music."

When You're Ready was heralded earlier in the year by the powerful first track, "Take The Journey," which was premiered via Rolling Stone Country. American Songwriter then premiered the album's second song, "Million Miles" via an animated video. "Million Miles," a song started by Jewel and Steve Poltz and completed by Tuttle, features Jason Isbell on backing vocals and Sierra Hull on mandolin.
