Billboard.com reports that Miley Cyrus' latest album BANGERZ has entered the Billboard 200 at the No. 1 spot with sales of 270,000 in its debut week.

This marks the fifth chart-topping album for Cyrus, who earned her first No. 1 on the chart seven years ago, with the soundtrack to Disney Channel's Hannah Montana series.

BANGERZ is Miley's fourth studio album following her mixed reviewed venture, 'Can't Be Tamed'. On June 3 Miley released 'We Can't Stop', the lead single for her upcoming fourth album. In the United States, the track debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 with first-week sales of 214,000 downloads. Additionally it entered the Hot Digital Songs component chart at number three. The single has since reached 'Platinum' in the United States and Australia.

MTV recently aired a doucmentary on the 20-year-old tabloid favorite in which cameras followed Miley as she worked on her new album.
