Marilyn Manson is headed to ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME.

According to Rolling Stone, the goth rocker has landed a role on the show's current season. His first appearance is set for an episode slated to air in mid-november.

Manson will voice the character of 'Shadow,' who has previously appeared in the show, and "whose voice will give life to the very essence of Neverland."

"We've always been enormous fans of Marilyn Manson," show creators and executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz told the publication today. "We wanted to cast someone with the vocal ability to make our skin crawl."

The iconic Manson is a three-time Grammy nominee and MTV Video Music Award winner. His eight studio albums have sold more than 50 million records worldwide with three albums being certified platinum and three certified gold in the U.S. His most recent disc, Born Villain, was released earlier this year. Manson has also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as Lost Highway, Party Monster and Rise: Blood Hunter. He has also scored and composed songs for the film Resident Evil.
