Malika Releases Luscious New Single 'I Live' x COLORS Berlin Session

After making an exciting comeback earlier this year with her infectious single 'Run', London-based singer/songwriter MALIKA now returns with her latest offering 'I Live', taken from her forthcoming EP Songs About C which is due for release on 1st September. Produced by fast rising artist Bearcubs, 'I Live' explores the soulful and sunnier side of the project, contrasting with the darker mood of 'Run'. Featuring a soulful piano melody and layers of lush harmonies, 'I Live' exudes the idyllic aspects of love. MALIKA's soaring vocals add emphasis to the beautiful melting pot of pop-infused R&B.

Bringing the track to life is her captivating performance of 'I Live' for COLORS Berlin, where MALIKA's effortless falsetto shines over gospel-like backing vocals. Both energetic and bubbly, the session highlights the authenticity of her talents, giving a great insight of what to expect from her future live shows.

After breaking onto the scene with her impressive introduction 'Put It On Me' last year, MALIKA has stayed firmly on everyone's radars as one of the most sought after voices by producers. Swiftly recruited by Snakehips last year, she featured on their Money On Me EP as the alluring vocalist behind their track 'Falling'. Since then, MALIKA has played a string of live performances with the duo during their stint of tour dates last year and she will be joining them for their homecoming gig in September at O2 Forum Kentish Town.

Having garnered strong support across BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital Xtra and Kiss, MALIKA has built up high anticipation around her debut EP release, as her exciting journey continues.
