La Mirada to Present TRIBUTE FRIDAYS 2013 with The Garth Guy and House of Floyd, 8/30 & 9/6

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS will present the return of its Friday Night series of concerts in their beautiful theatre, TRIBUTE FRIDAYS 2013, featuring some of the most extraordinary tribute bands performing anywhere in the world and this year, rocking the house to the music of Garth Brooks & Shania Twain and the soundscapes of Pink Floyd!

TRIBUTE FRIDAYS dates are Friday, August 30 &Friday, September 6 at 8pm. As always, the lobby bar will open for Happy Hour at 6:30pm.

With over 18 years of experience, Dean Simmons (THE GARTH GUY) is the premiere Garth Brooks impersonator and tribute artist in the world. He brings audiences across the globe the live Garth Brooks experience that is performed with respect and amazing accuracy. His shows are a real sincere tribute to Garth Brooks... and his music. This Tribute Fridayconcert will also feature a special guest appearance by SHADES OF SHANIA, the tribute to Shania Twain by Kim Simmons!

HOUSE OF FLOYD is San Francisco's immersive Pink Floyd tribute band who has gained a strong following for its unique ability to enthuse both the hard-core fans of the early adventurous Floyd and those who enjoy the songs and soundscapes that later brought them widespread appeal. In the Pink Floyd tradition, a HOUSE OF FLOYD concert incorporates sound effects, moving lights, lasers and video projection.
