Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds received the 2,508th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, October 10, 2013. The ten-time Grammy Award-winning American R&B musician, singer-songwriter and record producer was accompanied by "L.A." Reid, Usher and Sean "Diddy" Combs as he received the honor.

The artist received the nickname "Babyface" because of his cute face while he was still a teen. He served as a keyboardist in the light-funk and R&B group The Deele, which also included drummer Antonio "L.A." Reid, with whom he would later form a successful writing and producing partnership.

His album Playlist consists of eight cover songs and two original works. It was released on September 18, 2007. It was the first album on the newly re-launched Mercury Records label. He is preparing to release a duets album with Toni Braxton titled Love. Marriage & Divorce due for release December 3, 2013 on Motown Records.
