Katchafire Release New Single 'Addicted' + Music Video

The Hamilton, New Zealand eight-piece band, Katchafire, release a new single Addicted, in anticipation of their forthcoming album, which will feature collaborations with some of Jamaica's finest talent. Addicted's lush harmonies accompany a catchy, toe-tapping melody, delivering a universal, feel-good vibe.

Katchafire has crafted a distinct sound, developed from a fusion of classic roots reggae, R&B, funk and modern dancehall, sprinkled with slinky pop, cool grooves and uplifting beats.

The three minute and twenty-six video, accompanying their single Addicted was shot in New Zealand. It presents the innocence and free-spirit of new, sweet and playful love. "XoXo baby - cuz baby I'm addicted to you in every way. Oh Lord it makes me weak in the knees, cuz I'm addicted to you still - XoXo baby," the lyrics ring.

The groups family core consists of lead guitarist Grenville Bell; father to lead vocalist, Logan Bell & drummer, singer and songwriter, Jordan Bell. "The band and I are really excited about this chapter," says Logan. "We have been working hard to bring some new fire. It's sounding great to our ears and we can't wait to share the music with everybody."

With four successful studio albums, a mass fanbase and platinum sales, the band continues to sell out venues globally. Katchafires's Legacy Tour is in celebration of two-decades of performing for fans worldwide. After hitting 20+ shows in Australia, the band will spend just over a month in Northern Europe, touring the United Kingdom, with newly added shows in Netherland, Switzerland and France.
