Kansas City v Boston Set for ESPN's SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL, 8/28

ESPN announced today its SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL presented by Taco Bell game selection for August 28: the Kansas City Royals and Eric Hosmer will travel to Fenway Park to face the Boston Red Sox and David Ortiz.

Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell airs each week at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Radio, ESPN DEPORTES Radio and WatchESPN. THE VOICE of Sunday Night Baseball, Dan Shulman, will provide commentary for the telecast alongside analysts Aaron Boone and Jessica Mendoza and reporter Buster Olney.

Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown presented by Chevrolet will precede the game at 7 p.m. with host Adnan Virk, analyst Dallas Braden and insider Tim Kurkjian.

This marks the 5th SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL appearance of 2016 for the Red Sox and the 2nd appearance for the Royals. In total, 16 MLB Clubs have appeared on SNB this season.

On deck: the NL Central-leading Chicago Cubs and Anthony Rizzo will host their rivals and the second place St. Louis Cardinals and Yadier Molina at 8 p.m. ET from historic Wrigley Field.
