Billboard.com reports that Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora will perform their hit single "Black Widow" at the August 24th VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS on MTV. The single is currently at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Yesterday MTV announced that Beyoncé signed on to the all-star line up and will be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. The honor has been previously given to Jackson, Madonna , Peter Gabriel, R.E.M., Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. The entertainer is an 11-time winner for her solo work and as a member of Destiny's Child. This year, she tops all nominees with eight nods, including Video of the Year, Best Female and Best Choreography. Also set to appear on this year's show are previously announced performers Usher,Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer and Maroon 5. The VMAs will be telecast at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Aug. 24 from The Forum in Los Angeles.Photo: Facebook
