In a new interview with Vulture, the Hanson brothers, Isaac, Taylor and Zac, reveal that we've all been singing their 1997 mega-hit "MMMBop" incorrectly!

Explains Zac of the song's unusual titled, "MMMBop" was started as a background part during the making of our previous independent album, called Boomerang. We were looking for background parts for a song, and somebody started singing what became the "MMMBop" chorus."

Asked if they've ever heard any good covers of the the tune over the years, Taylor reveals, "I gotta be honest: No."
Adds Issac, "You know why? People can't sing the chorus right. Most of the time they syncopate it wrong." The trio would also love to hear a really good cover of the song, but only if it were performed by the right person. Suggests Isaac, "If Bruno Mars were interested, he'd probably find a way to kill it."
