French Artist Oriane Hazan Debut EP Expected To Be Release this Summer

French Artist Oriane Hazan, best known to the industry and friends as "Oriane," brings her powerful voice to the studio with famed Grammy Award winning maestro Walter Afanasieff and British producer Tom Nichols (All Saints, Celine Dion, Hall & Oats, and Kylie Minogue). The French songstress has been away combining her thought provoking lyrics with these producers' magical musical influences to bring forward a lovely tapestry of music. "I have been very fortunate to work with these world class producers. I have learned a lot from their expertise and experience. It's very exciting to see the combination of our efforts transformed into a sound and style that I am very proud of."

Growing up in Paris, Oriane naturally fell under the spell of the great French singers like Edith Piaf, Michel Berger, Jacques Brel and Charles Aznavour. Her grandparents belonged to an opera group, and she was exposed to opera as well.

She trained first in classical music, while also excelling in sports (she was a champion competitor in horseball-the International Federation for Equestrian Sports-sanctioned game in which players shoot a ball through a net while riding on horseback!)

Because of her family's background in fashion, Oriane was able to do what every girl dreams of while growing up - doing photo shoots. She appeared in a number of top French fashion magazines, including French Cosmopolitan and Italian Grazia. And while her father wanted her to join him in his clothes design company, her love of music eventually won out

Other music influences included Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin-"all those big voices got under my skin and inspired me to sing with emotion," she says. "They nourished me, almost like food!"
Expect to hear this summer, her debut release that reflects the beauty, The Edge and the tapestry of music richness that only Oriane can bring.
