Upstate New York rockers The Felice Brothers, known for their authentic and spirited live show, have announced a vast North American Fall tour in support of their forthcoming album Life In The Dark (June 24 / Yep Roc Records).
Celebrating their 10th anniversary as a band, The Felice Brothers will make their way from East to West in September and October. Shows in New York, DC, Chicago, LA, San Francisco and more will "pack enough energy to wow first time concertgoers and keep their diehard fans sated" - Consequence of Sound. A full list of dates follows. This Friday sees the release of Life In The Dark, the band's ninth studio album. As part of release day events, the band will stream a special performance live from WDST/Radio Woodstock beginning at approximately 12:00 noon ET. Fans can watch live via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/thefelicebrothers/.Life In The Dark was recorded in a rented garage-turned-recording-studio on Letterbox Farm, a working farm in New York State's verdant Hudson Valley in Columba County. The nine new songs find lyricist Ian Felice continuing to explore modern life in a complicated and divided America, through a cynical and occasionally heartbroken lens, in the tradition of songwriters like John Prine, Shane MacGowan and Michael Hurley. ?
