Additionally, today Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have unveiled the official fan made video for Big Top featuring their song "In The Lion". Sarah Moumblow, an artist currently living in the Arctic Circle, was inspired by her setting to create the video. "I have been living in the Arctic Circle for the past year. Sometimes I feel that I miss a lot of awesome things because I'm so far away. Don't get me wrong, the Arctic landscape is beautiful, but it's a bit lonely. In the last few months, I've realized that a lot of the art projects I've been working on have all tried to get others to interact with me. They have created a sense of connectedness that I've been missing. The idea for the Paper Band started when Edward Sharpe announced the Big Top festival and asked people to share their photos from concerts they attended. I had never been to one of their shows, but I didn't let that stop me from imagining what it would be like. I loved the idea of seeing a show in a circus tent, and instead of being saddened by the fact that I'll miss it, I decided to imagine it."
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have always been passionate about the community. From their earliest days in 2007, the band has consistently created music that uplifts and brings people together from all over the world. Individually and collectively, they've actively supported a variety of charitable endeavors, including: Charity Water, VH1 Save The Music Foundation, The American Red Cross, and many more. It is in this spirit that Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have formed the Big Sun Foundation - a non-profit organization that believes in the power of a unified world community. "We will identify causes and social issues that are important to all of us and work together to create opportunities to make a difference in the world one beautiful human at a time," said the members of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. "In joining together, we will bring awareness and support to causes that are fighting for the rights and basic needs of all beings."
