Black Needle Noise Premieres Premieres I'LL GIVE YOU SHAPE With Chris Connelly

Fronted by seminal producer John Fryer, BLACK NEEDLE NOISE is premiering "I'll Give You Shape," his new song with industrial music icon Chris Connelly (Ministry, Revolting Cocks) today via Post-Punk.com. The darkly romantic and dramatic new song is the latest in a series of singles that Black Needle Noise has been releasing consistently over the past few years and is now available via Bandcamp.

In other exciting news, Black Needle Noise will be performing its very first ever live performance which will take place at South By Southwest in Austin, TX on March 14th at the Dirty Dog Bar (505 E 6th St, Austin, TX 78701). With a live backing lineup consisting of previous collaborator Betty X on vocals, Anjela Piccard on backup-vocals, John Fryer and Jonathan Lacey on guitars, and SeanHazebrouck on drums, Black Needle Noise will be performing songs from its growing catalog which can be found here. To reserve your place for this very special one time event, RVSP to the showcase here.

In addition, Black Needle Noise's 2016 record Before The Tears Came is now available on vinyl. The black vinyl variant of the record can be ordered now on Amazon, while inquries about other colored variants can be sent to itourdj@gmail.com.

A major production force to reckon with, Fryer has been behind dozens of blockbuster albums by artists such as Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Yaz, Stabbing Westward, Peter Murphy and others.

When speaking to about the new song, Chris Connelly says, "I was so humbled to write and sing for this incredible music, my favorite thing about collaboration is that someone else's sounds and melodies will push me into different atmospheres and moods, it's like walking through someone else's private home, it's a privilege and I do not take it for granted as it can only ever strengthen me as a writer."

Fryer meanwhile states, "It's been a great pleasure working with Chris. I've been listening to his records for a very long time. Our friend Marija Buljeta put us in touch with each other thinking it would be a good idea if we collaborated on a song or two. As you can hear, she was right."

Black Needle Noise's previously released music features a diverse who's who of alternative vocalists such as Mimi Page (Delirium), Jennie Vee (bassist, Hole), Ana Breton (Dead Leaf Echo), Omniflux (Puscifer), Kendra Frost (Kite Base), Andrea Kerr (Colt), Sivert Hoyem, Antic Clay, and ZiaLand, among others. "I like to keep people guessing as to what will be released next, not only with sound but now with what language the song will be in," explains Fryer about his revolving door of vocalists.

John Fryer started his career in 1979 at London's Blackwing Studios (London) and soon began working with seminal bands on the 4AD, Mute, Rough Trade, and Beggars Banquet record labels, including Depeche Mode, The Wolfgang Press, and Cocteau Twins. His achievement in helping develop the latter's pioneering ethereal and ambient sound ultimately led Watts-Russell to recruit Fryer as his partner for This Mortal Coil.

"I'll Give You Shape" is now available on Bandcamp. RVSP to Black Needle Noises' SXSW Showcase here.
