Atoms For Peace Launch New Youtube Channel

Atoms For Peace has announced the creation of a new, dedicated YouTube channel, live as of today at https://www.youtube.com/atomsforpeacetv.

The launch of the channel features the premiere of a live version of "Default" as performed by Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich at New York City's Le Poisson Rouge on March 14. The performance was one of three events commemorating the release of Atoms For Peace's AMOK on XL Recordings, the other two having taken place in London and Berlin. The performances featured a unique combination of spontaneously manipulated tracks from AMOK and Thom's 2006 solo effort The Eraser mixed with live guitar and vocals, all augmented by the visuals of Tarik Barri.

Two more such events have been confirmed for next month: April 17 at Razzmatazz in Barcelona and April 19 at Gaite' Lyrique in Paris.

Thom and Nigel and the full Atoms For Peace lineup including Flea, Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco will begin touring July 6 in Paris, with U.S. dates beginning September 24 in Philadelphia and including headlines at New York's Barclay Center and the Hollywood Bowl as well as stops in Washington DC and Chicago before concluding October 17 at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
