MTV News gives a first look at the trailer for for ROMEO & JULIET, the big screen adaptation starring Hailee Steinfeld, Douglas Booth, Damian Lewis, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ed Westwick, Stellan Skarsgaard and Paul Giamatti. Check it out below!

In the film, set to hit theaters on October 11, an ageless story from the world's most renowned author is reimagined for the 21st Century. The adaptation gives a new generation the chance to fall in love with the enduring legend.

The film was written by Julian Fellowes ("Downton Abbey") and directed by Carlos Carlei (The Flight of the Innocent).
