Devolver Digital Films is proud to announce the digital VOD release of the critically acclaimed romantic drama, Home, James, directed by Jonathan Rossetti.

The award-winning feature-length film follows James, an aspiring photographer, who falls for Cooper, a hard-drinking socialite, while working his day job as a sober driver. Consumed by a whirlwind romance, the couple is forced to choose between their dreams and their hearts, knowing it won't be easy either way.

The digital VOD (Video on Demand) release is scheduled for August 12, 2014 through Devolver. Home, James will be available via iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, PlayStation, Xbox, VUDU, Distrify, Vimeo on Demand, VHX, Google Play, and others. Home, James (Romantic Drama, 2014, 84 min.) --
Set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the story follows James (Rossetti), an aspiring local photographer whose recent rejection from a major gallery has left him questioning his talent. While working his unfulfilling day job, he falls for Cooper (Kerry Knuppe), a hard-drinking Tulsa socialite. James and Cooper are quickly consumed by a whirlwind romance that at first inspires and instills confidence in James, but ultimately threatens to derail him. In the end, they both must decide whether to pursue their dreams or each other, knowing that it won't be easy either way.??

Home, James, written by Rossetti and Julie Gearheard, was shot on location in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was funded through a successful $50K Kickstarter campaign. The cast of up and coming actors, Rossetti (James), Knuppe (Cooper), Rick Dacey (Mike), and Gearheard (Sam), is complemented by Hollywood veterans Kathleen Rose Perkins (Episodes, The Island) and Marshall Bell (Stand By Me, Capote, Nancy Drew) in the supporting roles of Anita Massie and Larry. Mary Beth Babcock, who plays herself in the film, was named Oklahoman of the Year 2011 by Oklahoma Today magazine. The soundtrack features unreleased music by Aqueduct, original music composed by Noah T., and features a song by The Brobecks. Home, James won the Best Oklahoma Feature award at the 2013 deadCENTER Film Festival, in competition with Nick Cassavetes' Yellow.

Jonathan Rossetti, Director, Co-Writer, & "James" - Jonathan Rossetti is a graduate of the Conservatory Program at the Atlantic Acting School in New York City and the Advanced Program in Los Angeles, where he was taught by David Mamet, William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, and others. He has appeared in many films and shorts including The Fall of 1980, Spartan, Redbelt, Smoke, Mirrors, and on television in The Unit. On stage, Rossetti has appeared off-Broadway in Keep Your Pantheon (Atlantic Theater), 10x20 (Atlantic Theater), the World Premiere of Keep Your Pantheon in Los Angeles (Center Theater Group), and many performances of LIVEworks with Acorn Pictures, among others. Happily married to Alyx Rossetti, he currently resides in Los Angeles, but his heart will always belong to Tulsa.
