Rebecca Hall, currently starring in MACHINAL on Broadway, has signed on to star alongside Jason Sudeikis in the upcoming film TUMBLEDOWN, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Tumbledown, directed by

Sean Mewshaw will direct the romantic comedy, with a script penned by Desi Van Til, and Sierra/Affinity distributing the film internationally.

The film features "Hall as a young widow unable to move on after the death of her husband, an acclaimed musician and the subject of a biography she's struggling to write. She teams with a brash New York academic (Sudeikis) who has an entirely different take on her husband's life, and death, as they try to make the biography a reality."

Blythe Danner and Joe Manganiello also co-star in the film, with production set to begin in March.

"Tumbledown reflects our company's ongoing effort to shepherd talented young filmmakers and deliver compelling films to the international marketplace. We are proud to bring this comedic love story starring an incredible cast to Berlin and provide it to moviegoers worldwide," said Sierra CEO Nick Meyer said.

Hall is known for starring in films such as "The Town," "Please Give", "Frost/Nixon" and Woody Allen's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Hall will next be seen in "Iron Man 3" for Marvel/Disney, "Closed Circuit" for Focus Features and "A Promise" directed by Patrice LeConte. She's currently starring in MACHINAL on Broadway.
