Jay Klaitz (Rock of Ages, High Fidelity, Lend me a Tenor) is making his Kickstarter debut. The actor stars in a short film called BENDER. Imagine waking up after a big night in a park, 10 years in the future. You can find a link to the project here: http://kck.st/16OiozJ. The campaign has 8 days to reach its goal of $6,000 by September 12th.

BENDER is a comedy that follows the story of the raffish-yet-lovable Henry (Klaitz), who, after missing his daughter's birthday, does what any raffish-yet-lovable man does: drink. A lot. The next morning, thoroughly hungover, he wakes up in the middle of Prospect Park. But something's different. Turns out it's 10 years in the future. Now, with the help of his old drinking buddy Mike (David Carl) - who now has a baby and a wife - he has to retrace his steps and find out how to get back to 2003.
BENDER is written and directed by Australian Christopher Hawthorne and is produced by by Smokey Nelson (Half Nelson, Blue Valentine, The History of Future Folk). It also stars David Carl (Point Break Live) and Megan Yalaney.
