National Geographic Channel Acquires Film HITLER'S LAST YEAR FROM ZED

National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) today announced it has picked up the rights to a new WWII special about Hitler's Last Year from ZED. The two-part film will air globally on National Geographic Channel in 2015, including in the US.

The commemorative special, documenting the final year of German Chancellor Adolf Hitler's life, marks the 70th anniversary of the end of the conflict. Spanning the eleven apocalyptic months of the conflict between D-Day and the Third Reich's surrender, the special unveils previously unheard strategies on both sides of the conflict that changed world history forever. Viewers will learn why it took almost a year to bring down the Nazi regime.

Based entirely on re-mastered, restored, recolored archives and with re-mastered sound in 5.1, the project has drawn upon rare images to retrace the epic events that ended the war.
