Film Adaptation of VERONICA'S ROOM by Ira Levin in the Works

VERONICA'S ROOM follows two students invited to a New England estate to visit the last remaining member of the family that resided there -- Cissie. One of the students, Susan, impersonates Veronica, Cissie's dead sister, as a means to an end.
The drama debuted on Broadway in 1973, directed by Ellis Rabb and starring Eileen Heckart, Arthur Kennedy, Regina Baff and Kipp Osborne. Baff was nominated for the 1974 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her portrayal of 'The Girl'.
Ira Levin also wrote No Time for Sergeants, Interlock, Critic's Choice, General Seeger, Drat! The Cat!, Dr. Cook's Garden, Deathtrap and Break a Leg for the stage. He passed away in 2007.
