Variety writes that Danny Glover and Maya Rudolph are set to co-star in Diego Luna's upcoming road film MR. PIG, written by Luna and Augusto Mendoza.

MR. PIG "turns on a farm-worker (Glover) who travels from the U.S. to Mexico, accompanied by a pig. They strike up a friendship of sorts."

Luna, Gael Garcia Bernal and Pablo Cruz's Canana is producing, with Mundial handling international sales.

Glover has quite a few projects in his big-screen queue, including Toxin, Long Day Journey, Waffle Street, Checkmate, Scout, Consumed, Bad Ass 3, Gridlocked, Monster Trucks and 83 Days. The actor is well known for his roles in The Color Purple, Predator 2, Witness, the Lethal Weapon series, Saw, and Angels in the Outfield.

Rudolph will next appear in the films Inherent Vice, The Greens Are Gone and The Nest. She is well known for her work on SNL, as well as The Awesomes and Up All Night. Among her recent big screen credits are Grown Ups and Bridesmaids.
