SPY follows a CIA analyst on the hunt for the person responsible for her lover's death. Jude Law will play the lover -- also a spy -- with Jason Statham as another spy described as "overconfident yet clumsy".

Also in the cast are Rose Byrne, who appears with Cannavale in the new Annie movie, and Miranda Hart.

Cannavale would play a villainous, Italian playboy. Long would star as one of the heads of the CIA.

Long will next appear on the big screen in the sequel to The Best Man Holiday. Long's TV credits include House of Lies, The Cleveland Show, Big Shots, Third Watch, Judging Amy, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and more.

Aside from the Annie remake, Cannavale's upcoming big screen projects include Imagine, Brother's Keeper and Martin Scorsese's upcoming rock 'n' roll movie for HBO. Cannavale recently appeared in Chef and Blue Jasmine. His TV credits include Nurse Jackie and Boardwalk Empire.

The actor was last seen on Broadway in 2013's The Big Knife. He has also starred in Broadway's Glengarry Glen Ross, The Motherf**ker with the Hat and Mauritius. He received Tony Award nominations for the last two plays.
