Pasternak Wine Imports is pleased to announce the nationwide launch of Chteau de la Mulonnire from Saget La Perrire. Saget La Perrire is one of France's Loire Valley's most dynamic and innovative family owned companies celebrating their 3 rd successive century in business. As "Masters of the Loire Valley" their goal is to offer consumers worldwide signature expressions of the Loire Valley appellations.

About Chteau de la Mulonnire - The Saget family recognized the growing opportunity in the Anjou appellation as consumers look to explore new regions and as Chenin Blanc grows in popularity as a varietal. According to Arnaud Saget, Managing Director, "Chteau de la Mulonnire became part of the Saget La Perrire family when my father, Jean-Louis Saget, literally fell in love with this historic estate in the Anjou region of the Loire Valley upon seeing the obvious quality potential of its terroirs, and subsequently decided to purchase the estate in 2003." Bordered by the Layon river on one side and vineyards on the other, Chteau de la Mulonnire is a perfect illustration of the relaxed charm of the Anjou lifestyle, a region known to produce some of the region's most prestigious appellations including Savennires, Coteaux du Layon and Quarts de Chaume. Sustainable viticulture is used in the vineyard with the aim of rendering a true portrayal of the estate's magnificent terroirs. Crafted under the guidance of cellar masters Benoit Dufour and Laurent Saget, the product range includes Chteau de la Mulonnire Savennires "L'Effet Papillon", Chteau de la Mulonnire "Coteaux du Layon Beaulieu" (375ml), M de Mulonnire Chenin Blanc and M de Mulonnire Ros d'Anjou, Chenin Blanc, Chteau de la Mulonnire's emblematic grape variety, fully displays its versatility through wine styles that range from dry to semi-dry and sweet delivering an extensive array of aromatics with great panache.

About Saget La Perrire - In 1790, the Saget family embarked upon a long history dedicated to vines and wine, firmly placing Saget among just a handful of estates that can enjoy their third successive century of business. With 890 acres of vines located in the finest Loire appellations, six estates and long-term relations with families of vine growers, Saget La Perrire, not only has extensive vineyards, but also creates and blends a wide range of wines from the Loire Valley.

Stephen Brauer, President and CEO of Pasternak Wine Imports, notes, "Saget La Perrire is always at the forefront of innovation, continuously experimenting and propelling to greater levels of excellence. Chteau de la Mulonnire is an exciting addition to the very successful La Perrire, Domaine Saget and Guy Saget product lines, and Pasternak is pleased to be associated with such a dynamic organization."
